Pizza!

Pizza
2 1/4 t yeast
1/2 t brown sugar
1 1/2 c warm water
1 t garlic salt
1/2 t Rosemary
1/4 t Basil
1/8 t Thyme
1 garlic clove crushed
2 T olive oil
3 1/3 c flour
  • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and brown sugar in the water, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Stir the seasonings, garlic, salt, and oil into yeast solution.
  • Using the dough hook in a stand mixer, mix in 2 1/2 c of flour.
  • Add flour 1/2 c at a time until dough is one large elastic ball and dough no longer sticks to side of bowl.
  • Cover dough with cloth and let rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Punch dough down and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Roll out into pizza shapes and place on greased pans.
  • Top pizzas as desired and let sit for 15 to 20 minutes to rise before baking in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
This recipe is the perfect size for just my family (about 2 small pizza pans). It can easily be doubled or tripled (only triple if you have the 5 qt kitchen aid, anything smaller won't do).
